"Towards a New Mindset" - surveying attitudes to new work practices
Collaborating with Durham University, we are studying attitudes to new work practices. Building on the CBI "Shape of Business" report, we've launched a survey (https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/3PTR6F8) to gain stronger insight into the often-inexplicable resistance to new work practices.
We would like to invite you to complete our SURVEY (https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/3PTR6F8) into workplace opinions and beliefs.
We can utterly assure you the survey is confidential and anonymous, however if you wish to voluntarily let us know your details, in return we will send you a free copy of the report and accompanying toolkit. We would also like you to consider circulating the survey amongst your colleagues - more contributors will strengthen the sample.
The background to the study is that, all too often, there's inexplicable resistance to changing work practices from a number of key executives. Studies have revealed that 86% of organisations have one or more senior managers diametrically opposed to new ways of working.
This irrational opposition, often referred to as today's $64 million question for corporate competitiveness, has gone largely unexplained. This is precisely what "Towards a New Mindset" aims to put right.
Our collaboration with Durham University is exploring the spectrum of interventions required to change organisational and individual mindset. In addition, the University is developing a 'toolkit' of management practices that can be applied to achieve shift mindset.
If you would like to find out more about the study, its objectives, deliverables, and timescales, please drop a note to Sam Thornton a note at samantha_thornton@jbassociates.uk.com and we will send you a precis.
